The Taste of London 2012

Known fondly as ‘Taste’ the ‘Taste of London’ is a smoothly run, foody’s dream event and happens once a year in London.

Over 40 restaurants send chefs to the event to serve up a feast of tantalizing morsels for visitors and there are many opportunities to learn new cooking skills from famous chefs such as Wolfgang Puck!

The event’s website entices saying:

“40 of the city’s best restaurants will be dishing up their finest in an unbeatable alfresco gourmet feast, while 200 producers provide a bounty of the best food and beverages, ensuring that guests sample and shop for a range of produce in the laid back atmosphere of a boutique food market.

Restaurants will fashion special menus of starter sized dishes for the occasion, including signature dishes created by chefs to specially reflect their philosophy and showcase seasonal and premium ingredients.” Taste of London Website

Details

This event is happening from the 21st to 24th of June 2012 and is a great place to meet other like minded ‘foody minds’ as well as of course, indulge in all the finer things in life.

There are a variety of other things to do and see whilst in London so why not stay in a  London city hotel so that you are fully immersed in the 2012 happenings of the city as well as being close to main attractions such as the London Eye, famous architecture and of course the royal family’s residence.
