Croatia has been growing in popularity in recent years as it offers gorgeous scenery, beaches, history and of course beautiful sunshine! So what can you do when you go, well here are a few ideas for you:
Relax at the beach

One thing we all look for in cheap sun holidays is time to enjoy the sun and the Dalmatian Coastline will allow you to do just that.
With loads of beaches (although many of them are nudest beaches) and gorgeous crystal blue waters, cute little villages with friendly locals the Dalmatian Coast is a lovely place to visit to chill out.
Scuba diving on the Island of Mljet
This southern island of Croatia is a sanctuary with untouched beaches and gorgeous scenery. This beautiful place is perfect for snorkelers and divers with the coral rees, underwater caves and clear water. It is apparently on of the cleanest in the world as you can see 15 meters below with your own eyes!
Visit the capital city, Zagreb
Zagreb is a lovely city full of character and traditional buildings. There is plenty to do, and for different needs! This energy packed town has concert halls and DJs filling the streets with sounds. While for those looking for a more cultural holiday, there are plenty of museums, galleries, traditional buildings and shops for you to visit.
Split & Trogir
Split boasts a huge Diocletian’s Palace which was built by a Roman Emperor in anticipation of his retirement while Trogir is a cultural paradise with cafes, a medieval fortress, beaches, green spaces and islands there is plenty to do.
These are just a few highlights of Croatia but there is plenty more you can see and do so do some research before you go so that you get the most out of your holiday.
Croatia was definitely a very beach orientated place! Another great thing to do if you are in Hvar is go to the hula hula bar which is great for sitting on deck chairs and watching the sun set in a really beautiful location!
